This glorious sunny morning saw the second instalment of the U10/12 Parent & Junior game.
The event brings together parents who play for the club with their children and other junior members, creating a fantastic shared experience on the pitch.
We had a great turnout, with 10 parents and 25 juniors taking part. The four teams rotated to play each other, with plenty of friendly rivalry on display—especially among the seasoned masters players!
The morning finished with a highly entertaining adults vs juniors match on three-quarters of a pitch. There was plenty of laughter, a bit of flair, and, unsurprisingly, a victory for the juniors.
We believe it’s incredibly important to give young players the opportunity to play alongside their parents, helping to build a welcoming, inclusive, and family-oriented club environment.
We’re already looking forward to the next event, planned for a week or two before the summer holidays.
